Account of the research sources that i considered and what they taught me

I researched our thriller using various sources such as newspaper articles and i read some books about the scare of diseased meat in the past

To research the butchers near us which is easy to get to i used the internet for. I looked up butchers in guildford area and we contacted a butcher who let us film the interior but not the exterior as he did not want his identity of his butcher to be shown as diseased meat. We figured out how far it was by using a map and seeing how long it would take to get there on the internet. We then had to make a shot list and prop list etc which we had help from looking on youtube for previous hurtwood thrillers. We needed to get props such as dirty carving knifes and a syringe to put into the diseased meat. We looked on google images for some pictures for what the props might look like to give us ideas.
The books i read in the past gave me ideas of where we would film and what it should look like (a dark and dirty room) The newspaper articles i read supported our idea of how this scare can be common so it is a more realistic plot as there have been stories about the symptoms of victims of diseases such as listeriosis ("I feel like I have food poisoning, car sickness and the flu at the same time.I am very achy and feel like I have a chill that won't go away.I also have this really werid taste in the back of my mouth/throat.") There have also been symtoms such as "tendonitis in the victims elbow ". These stories gave me the idea of what symtoms we should use in our thriller.
